Vladimir Tarasenko (born Vladimir Andreyevich Tarasenko in Yarosiavi, Russia on December 13, 1991) is a professional ice hockey player, who plays for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Prior to playing in the NHL, Vladimir started playing hockey for the senior team in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He spent all of three seasons in the KHL he was traded in 2012. He was selected in the first round and 16th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues, where he currently plays. Throughout his career, Vladimir has played internationally for the Russian junior team three times at the 2009 IIHF World U18 Championships, 2010 World Championships, and 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. On the senior level, he has played for Team Russia at the 2011 IIHF World Championship and during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Vladimir Tarasenko is best known for playing on the NHL hockey team, St. Louis Blues, as a right winger. In 2011, he won a gold medal at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
