Bio: Trinity Gay (born 2001 in Lexington, Kentucky) was an American high school athlete and the daughter of Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay. Trinity grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, and excelled as a sprinter, just like her father, for the Lafayette High School track and field team. She placed multiple times in state track and filed meets in the 100m and 200m, and ran for the 4×200 relay team, as well.

Trinity is the only child of Shoshana Boyd and Tyson Gay. She grew up alongside her cousin Destin. Trinity was shot and killed on October 16, 2016, outside of a restaurant near the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She was just 15 years old.
