Sonya Jones (born in Springfield, Illinois on insert birthdate: January 15, 1975]) is a current finalist on season 16 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser. Before going on The Biggest Loser, Sonya was a fast-pitch softball player at Greenville College in Illinois. She was the first player at her college to hit the pall out of the park, but due to unhealthy diet and genetics, she gained a ton of weight. She also suffers with mild sleep apnea, diverticulosis, high cholesterol, borderline high blood pressure and arthritis in her lower back. However, during The Biggest Loser she went from 283 pounds to 163 pounds!
