Shayanna Jenkins (born Shayanna Jenkins circa 1989) grew up in Bristol, Connecticut. She met NFL star Aaron Hernandez while in high school at Bristol Central High School. She graduated in 2007 and continued dating Aaron Hernandez. The two moved to North Attleboro, Mass., where Aaron Hernandez was a tight end for the New England Patriots. They never officially married but became engaged in November 2012. That same month they gave birth to their daughter Avielle Janelle Hernandez. On June 26, 2013, Aaron Hernandez was let go from The Patriots after he was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
