Bio:
Sean Malone (reportedly born in 1961 in South Boston, Massachusetts) was an American actor. A native of Boston, Sean’s acting career took off in 2007 when he played the character Skinny Ray Likanski in the Ben Affleck movie, Gone Baby Gone. Sean followed up this appearance with a role in the 2008 short film, Leo, and with a small role in the 2009 crime drama, Scalpers. Sean’s other big role would come in 2010, where he played Wolfie in the Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale feature film, The Fighter. Sean would also appear in 2011’s Whaling City and, in what would be his final film, The Forger, alongside John Travolta. Sean also did some commercial work, most notably a spot for DishTV’s Hopper service. On July 20, 2015, Sean went out swimming in the waters of a South Boston beach. He went too far and began drowning. Sean was recused by an off-duty firefighter, Chris Flaherty. Sean was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition until his untimely death on July 29, 2015.

Personal Life:
Sean’s brother, Scott Malone, is a Boston Fire Department deputy chief that worked with the off-duty fireman that rescued him. Sean is survived by his parents, his siblings (Scott and sisters Courtney and Lauren) and his son, who is also named Sean.
