Russell Crowe Russell Crowe (born Russell Ira Crowe on April 7, 1964, in Wellington, New Zealand) is an actor and musician. Though best known for starring in epic movies like Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind and Les Miserables, he also dabbled in the music industry. In the mid 1980s, Russell was a member of the band Roman Antix, later renamed 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts.

Russell has enjoyed a number of high-profile relationships during his career. Sadly, Russell and Danielle separated in Oct. 2012. Since then, Russell has kept his love life out of the spotlight, but did carry on a brief romance with Meg Ryan.
