Ron Miscavige (born Ron Miscavige in 1936) is the father of the leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige. He is also an author, having penned the tell-all book Ruthless: Scientology, My Son David Miscavige and Me. Ron appeared on ABC News’ 20/20 to reveal the drastic measures he took to escape from their ‘Gold Base’ compound in California, where he was living from 2006 with his wife, Becky.

Best Known For:
Ron is best known for being David’s son, as well as a former Scientology member who managed to physically escape from the church.

Personal Life:
Ron is estranged from his son David, and is believed to live in Wisconsin with his wife Becky.
