Bio:
Rashaan Salaam (born October 8, 1974 in San Diego, California) was an American football player. He played college football for the University of Colorado, during which time he won the Heisman Trophy in 1994. The Chicago Bears picked him in the first round of the NFL Draft in 1995, and after that he played for the Bears and the Cleveland Browns. He was found dead in a parking lot on Dec. 5, 2016 in Boulder, Colorado.

Rashaan was beloved by the Colorado University community and was a very involved alumnus.
