Olivier Martinez (born Olivier Martinez in Paris, France on January 12 1966) is a French film actor. He became known after roles in several French films such as Un, deux, trois, soleil (1993), which garnered him the César Award for “Most Promising Actor”, The Horseman on the Roof (1995), and The Chambermaid on the Titanic (1997). He has also appeared in Hollywood-produced features, including Before Night Falls (2000), Unfaithful (2002), and S.W.A.T. (2003). He starred in the film Dark Tide (2011), where he met his current fiancee, Halle Berry. He previously dated Australian pop singer, Kylie Minogue.

Olivier is married to the American actress, Halle Berry. He was at the center of her custody battle with her former boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry. Olivier and Gabriel had a violent fight on Thanksgiving day 2012, and Gabriel was left with very severe facial bruising. They were allegedly fighting because Gabriel had stopped Halle and Olivier moving to France with his daughter Nahla. Since then, Olivier and Halle had their first child together — Maceo, born on Oct. 5, 2013.
