Nick Fradiani (born Nov. 15, 1985 in Guilford, Connecticut) is an American singer. He auditioned for the 14th season of American Idol in New York City with the song “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel. He was also named the winner of season 14 on May 13, 2015.

Personal life:
Prior to his time on American Idol, Nick was the vocalist for the band Beach Avenue. The group competed on the ninth season of America’s Got Talent, but were cut during judgment week.
