Michael Lohan

Bio:
Michael Lohan (born Michael Douglas Lohan Sr. on April 25, 1960 in Syosset, New York) is an American television personality. Michael became a Wall Street trader on the floor of the commodity exchange at age 20. Five years later, he would marry Dina Lohan and the couple would have four children together, including starlet Lindsay Lohan, Ali Lohan, Michael Lohan Jr. and Dakota Lohan. Michael and Dina separated when Linsday was three-years-old, but later reunited. In 1990, Michael was investigated for insider trading and convicted of criminal contempt of court. He was sentenced to three years in a Nassau County jail and was released in 1993 on five years probation. While behind bars, Linsday started modeling for the Ford Models agency and began her acting career. In 1997, he was arrested for violating his probation by flying to Napa, California to visit his daughter after she was hospitalized for an asthma attack. He subsequently served a year in prison. Along with Lindsay’s fame, tensions rose within the Lohan family. Michael and Dina’s youngest brother, Matt Sullivan, got into a fistfight in 2004. Michael was charged with attempted assault. While awaiting sentencing, he was in a car accident and charged with a DUI. Michael would appear on the fifth season of the VH1 reality television series, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Personal Life:
In 2008, Michael was involved in a paternity suit after a Montana massage therapist, Kristi Kaufmann Horn, accused him of fathering her daughter, Ashley Horn. The rests revealed he was the father. In 2014, Michael married Kate Major. In 2015, the couple lost custody of their children – Landon Lohan and Logan Lohan – to Michael’s mother after the Florida Department of Children and Families determined they were unfit parents.
