Michael Galeota

Bio:
Michael Galeota (born Michael James Galeota on August 28, 1984 in Smithtown, New York) is an American actor. His first role was in the 1991 film Women & Men 2: In Love There Are No Rules, and he went on to star in movies like Secret Santa, Bushwhacked and Clubhouse Detectives. After guest-starring roles on shows like E.R. and Ally McBeal, Michael landed his breakout role on Disney Channel’s The Jersey, which aired from 1999-2004.

Personal Life:
Michael began complaining of abdominal pains during the first week of Jan. 2016 and was admitted to the hospital. Against doctors’ orders, he left the hospital, and friends grew worried after not hearing from him for several days. On Jan. 10, a friend found his dead body in the living room, and the actor had reportedly not been following medical advice to deal with his hypertension, high cholesterol and diverticulitis (inflammation of the digestive tract).
