Maude Apatow (born Maude Apatow in Los Angeles, California on December 15, 1997) is an American actress and the daughter of director Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann. She first appeared in her father’s 2007 comedy Knocked Up, in which she played the daughter to Paul Rudd and her real-life mother Leslie’s on-screen characters Pete and Debbie. Maude later went on to play roles in the hit comedy films, Funny People and This Is 40, both of which were written and directed by her father. In 2016, she starred in her first film not directed by her father, Other People, starring alongside Adam Scott, Jesse Plemons and Molly Shannon. Aside from acting, Maude is also well known for her large Twitter fan base, which helped her become a contributor to Zooey Deschanel‘s website Hello Giggles. In 2013, her Twitter feed was voted as one of the “Best Twitter Feeds of 2013” by Time magazine, calling her tweets “funny and earnest.”
