Marcus Willis (born in Slough, England on October 9, 1990) is a professional British tennis player. Marcus won six matches during his senior career, which qualified him for the 2016 Wimbledon Championships. He made his debut at Wimbledon in 2016, starting off with an underdog victory against Ricardas Berankis, who ranked more than 700 places above Marcus. While he was defeated by Roger Federer in the second round of the tour, he gained notoriety by fans and spectators for his strong game.
