John Molner

Bio:
John Molner is a Chicago-born, New York City-based financier. He is the head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Chicago-based investment firm Brown Brothers, and is perhaps best known for his relationship with famed journalist Katie Couric; he proposed over Labor Day weekend, 2013, and they married on June 21, 2014. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from Trinity College, as well as from the Chicago Booth School Of Business.

John used to date fellow financier, Jessica Hsu, for two years before taking up with Katie. His first marriage was to Jane Franke, and they share a daughter, Allie Molner.
