Isaac Mizrahi (born in Brooklyn NY, on Oct. 14, 1961) is an American fashion designer, TV presenter, and creative director. At the early age of ten, his father gave him a sewing machine. At 15, he created his own label, IS New York. Isaac debuted his first collection in 1987 during a trunk show at the famous New York department store Bergdorf Goodman. Isaac has made appearances on multiple TV shows and movies. A movie was released about the development of his Fall 1994 collection called Unzipped. In 1997 he published a collection of three comic books titled, Isaac Mizrahi Presents the Adventures of Sandee the Supermodel. In 2005, the Isaac show debuted on Style Network. He has appeared in Sex and the City, Spin City and Ugly Betty.

Isaac and his partner Arnold Germer were married after six years in a civil ceremony in New York City Hall on November 30, 2011.
