David Shulkin

Bio:
David Shulkin (born David Jonathon Shulkin in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania on June 22, 1959) became a doctor after getting his MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He worked as chief medical college at University of Pennsylvania Health System, Temple University Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He worked as Under Secretary to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert MacDonald.

David Shulkin is best known for his position as Under Secretary to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert MacDonald. He was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to become Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs under his administration.

Personal Life:
David Shulkin is married to dermatologist Merle Bari. They met while David was a resident at the University of Pittsburgh.
