As we had hoped, the season five premiere of GG kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end. The last time we watched our favorite Upper Eastsiders, Blair (Leighton Meester) was planning on going to Monaco and getting ready to marry Prince Louis after her rendezvous with Chuck (Ed Westwick). Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Lively) was jetting off to LA to spend time with her grandmother and her cousin, Charlie (Kaylee Defer), ended up not being her cousin, but really a girl named Ivy…and Nate (Chace Crawford) and Raina (Tika Sumpter) split. Needless to say, it’s safe to say a lot changed in the heat of the summer.
Watch out Upper East Siders! A new female character is coming and is sure to shake things up in the Big Apple. Elizabeth Hurley is signed on for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl and, by the looks of it, may be getting cozy with Chace Crawford‘s newly single character Nate Archibald! Spoiler alert! Read More!
Tika Sumpter, who spoke to HollywoodLife.com at the five year anniversary of the Tracy Reese Flagship Store event in New York City June 8, had vague things to say about her character’s possible return on the new season of Gossip Girl.
Gossip Girl is undergoing some major changes — and we’re not so sure how we feel about this potential new bomb shell! Chace Crawford has landed a leading role in a romantic comedy co-starring Katie Holmes called Responsible Adults. The catch? It shoots next fall. What does this mean for his TV show?
Chace Crawford is a very believable drug dealer! We spoke to the Gossip Girl star July 28 at the NYC premiere of his upcoming film Twelve, and we must say Chace really embodied his role as White Mike. He plays a drug dealer to the rich teens of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, and even though the setting overlaps a bit with Gossip Girl, Chace tells HollywoodLife.com this role was a drastic change from Nate Archibald.
Chace Crawford is way too overconfident about his fighting skills: the Gossip Girl hunk thinks he could totally take fellow pretty boys Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron in an arm-wrestling match!
“Bring it on!” the 25-year-old Texan tells Cosmo UK, laughing, “Can I use two hands? I could hold my own then. I could get R-Patz maybe, but then he’d just bite the crap out of my hand!”
