Bio: Brendan Dassey (Brendan Ray Dassey on October 19, 1989 in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin) was convicted of being party to first-degree murder of photographer Teresa Halbach, second-degree sexual assault and mutilation of a corpse. He was sentenced to life in prison, but the Netflix documentary series Making a Murderer analyzed the investigation and revealed that Dassey’s confession was involuntary.
