Ananda Lewis

Bio:
Ananda Lewis (born in Los Angeles, California on March 21, 1973)  is an American television personality, model and social activist. In 2001 she began hosting her own television talk show, The Ananda Lewis Show. Prior to this she worked with MTV. Her show covered topics surrounding domestic violence and breast cancer with her target audience being eighteen to thirty-four-year-old women. Ananda’s show was successful airing on some WB and NBC stations but it got canceled after its first season. She is a big animal lover, so she served as co-host of the A&E television-network show America’s Top Dog and as a spokesperson for the Humane Society. She has two pet Chihuahuas.

Best Known For:
She is best known for hosting her own television talk show, The Ananda Lewis Show. She allegedly dated Prince briefly in 2001.

Personal Life:
Ananda is married to Harry Smith, who is Will Smith’s younger brother. She is Aunt to Jaden and Willow Smith. She is very close with the females in her immediate family including, her mother, grandmother, and sister. She has credited them for providing her with a positive, supportive environment. As she grew older she struggled with her parents’ divorce. Ananda has made amends with both her parents now though. In 2011, she gave birth to her first child, a boy. She currently lives in the San Fernando Valley.
