Rebel Wilson seems to have made a powerhouse new pal in 2021. The actress posed with former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson in a photo she shared to her Instagram account on Jan. 7. It comes a day after Rebs shared a photo wearing a tight crop top and leggings while putting up her dukes to a punching bag. She hasn’t made it clear yet how her boxing workout and her hangout with Iron Mike are tied together, but there’s a definitely boxing theme going on with her current IG posts

Rebel wore a gorgeous yellow Gucci Milano stitch crewneck jacket with black trim and gold buttons that retails for $3,980 as she posed standing next to the 54-year-old legend of the ring. She added slim fitted black trousers and sockless black loafers to her polished look. The Pitch Perfect star wore her blonde locks styled in a chic bun atop her head, with wispy tendrils on the sides.

Mike wore a black leather jacket, button up shirt and jeans, along with a beanie atop his head. He smiled in the photo and appeared to have headphones around his neck. The pair were seen indoors, and it appears Rebel could have stopped by his studio where he tapes his Hot Boxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast. Or maybe she was getting some boxing tips from the icon and decided to dress up nicely for a photo together.

Rebel teased that something would be “Coming soon” in a Jan. 6 Instagram photo that showed off her amazing 60 pound weight loss. She wore bright pink lycra leggings and a tight long sleeve orange crop top while in a brightly red lit gym setting. She stood next to a large boxing bag with her fists up as she posed, with a weight bench next to her. Rebel didn’t elaborate any further as to what her “Coming soon” caption referred to.

Seven hours after posting the photo alongside Iron Mike, Rebel shared a video from the apparent photo shoot the day prior in the gym, wearing the same orange and hot pink lycra outfit. Only this time she stood next to the boxing bag while waving a scarf around in slow motion as Ariana Grande‘s “Positions” played. So we’re excited to see where Rebel’s taking us with her last three IG posts…Mike Tyson, boxing bags, sensational athletic wear and flaunting her incredible new body. Somehow they must be tied together.
