Selena Gomez, 28, uploaded a new video to her Rare Beauty YouTube channel on December 30 that shows her going from fresh faced to glam in just 5 minutes. The best part? She shared the exact steps, and Rare Beauty products, so that anyone can copy her easy makeup look.
The singer and makeup mogul started the video (which you can see above) makeup free and fresh-faced and quickly began dotting Rare Beauty’s Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation on her forehead, cheeks and chin. She began blending it into her skin using the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush. Once the first round of foundation was evenly applied she dotted more around her nose. Using her foundation brush she blended again and finished with a smile.
Next, she applied Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer beneath her eyes, underneath her eyebrows, and just under her nose. Using her Liquid Touch Concealer Brush she blended it into her skin and paused to give herself some love. “This is, like, turning out so good,” she enthused. “I’m so stoked.” She also added a second round of concealer and blended again. She shared her reason for more concealer saying, “just ’cause, why not? You can keep layering and layering.”
Adding some color to her face she dotted Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Joy onto the apples of her cheeks and used her Liquid Touch Foundation Brush to blend it along her cheekbones to perfection.
Selena’s brows are always on fleek, but to give them some added oomph she used her Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel and brushed it onto her arches.
She gave herself an extra glow by highlighting her cheekbones, under her brows and on the tip of her nose with Positive Light Luminizer in Enlighten. To keep it looking natural she blended it with her foundation brush.
Selena used her With Gratitude Dewey Lip Balm in Blessed to give her lips some sheer coverage. For the final step, to minimize shine in her T-zone, Selena blotted her forehead, chin and either side of her nose with her Blot and Glow Touch Up Kit.
The stunning star, who launched her Rare Beauty collection a year ago, appraised her end look with pride and joked, “Did I do it right? I think so!” Yes, Selena, you definitely did. And we will definitely be copying your easy glam for our New Year’s Eve celebrations — at home, of course.
