Even as well-connected as Jennifer Lopez is with all the top designers, she has to wait in line with others when she wants to hit up a retail location. The 51-year-old superstar patiently waited with her 12-year-old daughter Emme to get into the Miami Gucci boutique on Dec. 20. Since shops only allow a limited numbers of customers in at a time due to COVID-19 gathering protocols, JLo and Emme patiently stood with other shoppers to get inside and pick up some last minute holiday purchases. Security eventually noticed the famous triple threat in their midst and let her and Emme cut in ahead of several other shoppers.
Jennifer went dressed down for the day out shopping, which also included stops by Valentino and Lulu Laboratorium after a pasta lunch with Emme at an Italian eatery. But since the “Dinero” singer is still a fashion goddess, even her wide-legged blue jeans were high-end. Her draw-string Tom Ford patchwork denim jeans go for a whopping $3,250. She paired them with a casual sleeveless grey sweatshirt-style top.
JLo wore her hair pulled up atop her head in a tight topknot. She donned bold gold brushed hooped earrings as a statement accessory, along with round-framed sunglasses. The Marry Me actress‘ footwear choice was unclear, as the wide legged jeans went all the way to the ground and obscured her feet. Both Jennifer and Emme donned dark protective face masks for their public outing.
Her adorable mini-me Emme dressed like her mom in wide legged jeans, but curled up the cuffs at the bottom to show off her white sneakers. The pre-teen also went with a comfortable shopping look, wearing a white t-shirt with a purple open-buttoned blouse over it that featured purple and white checkered print mixed with the same colors in a floral and paisley pattern.
Emme seems to have got a slight haircut, as she was seen with her naturally curly hair sitting far above her shoulders, several inches shorter than it has been in recent Instagram photos. Even though she’s becoming a teenager on Feb. 22, 2021 when Emme and her twin brother Max turn 13, she proved she’s still a mama’s girl by holding on to Jen’s hand as they pair walked away from their day of bonding and shopping. Jennifer shared in a Dec. 5 makeup free IG photo that even though her kids are getting older, she loves that they “they still want to sit on mama’s lap.”
