Prince William and Kate Middleton got their little ones into the holiday spirit for a night at the theater none of us will soon forget. The couple’s adorable children George, 7, Charlotte, 5, and Louis, 2, walked hand-in-hand with their mom and dad, as they appeared on the red carpet together for the first time. They were all smiles as they arrived at the London Palladium for a pantomime performance in celebration of the holiday season. Kate wore a blue and grey checkered long sleeved dress, while her husband cut an equally smart figure in a red sweater with a blue suit jacket and slacks.
He held his daughter Charlotte’s hand, however the young princess let go while walking down the red carpet, proving just how confident she already is! Meanwhile, baby brother Louis held onto Kate’s hand as they were greeted at the end of the carpet. Inside the event, William gave a speech thanking essential workers, while his family sat in the Royal Box. “It’s wonderful to be back here in the West End and see theatres reopening their doors,” William began. “Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis and I are all really looking forward to the show.”
The future King added, “You have given your absolute all this year, and made remarkable sacrifices. So too have your families, who I’m sure have seen far less of you than they would have liked. It’s lovely that you are all here together tonight. You are representative of the huge number of people across the U.K. who have stepped forward to make a difference this year in so many crucial ways. The country owes you a huge debt of gratitude.”
William and Kate first met at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where they both graduated in 2005. He recently celebrated his 38th birthday on June 21, and the couple have since welcomed their adorable three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, 2.
