Ryan Reynolds continues to have the best faux celebrity feuds ever. His most iconic is his longstanding back and forth diss-fest with actor Hugh Jackman, but now he’s added another Aussie superstar to his “frenemy” list. Ryan had his mom Tammy Reynolds talk smack about Chris Hemsworth in a Dec. 7 Twitter video, and now the 37-year-old hunk is coming hard at 44-year-old Ryan in return.
From the set of his new Netflix film Spiderhead, Chris could be seen in a Dec. 10 Instagram video, sitting next to the movie’s costume designer Dan Blacklock. “Hey, Ryan Reynolds. What’s up, man? I saw you got your mum to trash talk me and say some horrible things about me, so I’ve got my dad here to say a few things about you,” the father of three began, with Dan sheepishly saying “I’m not your dad.”
Chris then told his “dad” to tell Ryan what he thought of him. “He’s a top man!” the crew member exclaimed and Chris shot him down. “He’s not a top man! We talked about this before. Tell them all the stuff we discussed: you hate him, he’s a d**khead, the worst actor, your least favorite Canadian in the whole world.” Dan replied that Chris was being “ridiculous,” and the actor replied, “It’s not ridiculous, it’s what we talked about!”
“You said you hate Aviation Gin, it’s disgusting,” Chris continued, referencing Ryan’s gin company that he just sold for over $600 million, as Dan replied it was his “favorite drink.” Chris asked Dan, “And Green Lantern, what did you say about that?” to which his pal called it “the best movie ever,” and the frustrated Thor hunk had to tell him, “It’s not the best movie ever. Even if you liked him, it’s not.”
The exchange between Chris and Ryan is all in good fun, as it is part of a AGBO Superhero League, which calls itself “A one-of-a-kind fantasy football league featuring some of the biggest superhero stars playing for charity.” Hemsworth went up against Captain America‘s Chris Evans in round one of trash talking and beat him, as Deadpool star Ryan took down Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt.
Now it is a question of if Hemsworth managed to outdo Reynolds in the semifinals round, as Ryan got his mom Tammy to trash talk Chris in a Dec. 7 Twitter video. “He’s asked me to read something about a friend of his, and normally I would not talk to my friends like this. But he insisted, so here it is,” Tammy began, holding up a sheet of paper.

“Chris Hemsworth is everyone’s least favorite Australian. And as a reminder, Hugh Jackman still exists,” she proclaimed, adding “Chris is a no-good a**hat who looks like a bodybuilder f**ked a platypus.” She went on to say, “Only a mother can say this next part. Chris…” she began, followed by several sentences of constant word bleeping.
“I am so sorry for my son Ryan, Chris,” Tammy told the Aussie hunk after she finished reading Ryan’s message to him. She then showed where her son gets his snarky humor from, adding, “You know it’s my fault, I brought him up wrong. I loved you in Wonder Woman. It was the best!” which was a killer dig, as Chris Pine played Steve Trevor in the blockbuster…which yet again poked fun over who is the hottest Chris in Hollywood. We can’t wait to see who won this round, as both Ryan and Chris brought their trash-talking A-game.
