January Jones just “had to do it” to them. The Mad Men alum, 42, took to Instagram on December 8 with her best bikini pic yet, and it wasn’t just because of how gorgeous she looked. In fact, the photo and its caption sent a strong message to haters who claimed that January’s Instagram posts made her seem “desperate!” But the actress shot back with the snap below.
In the image, January sported a hot pink two-piece, featuring high-waisted bottoms and a top with a plunging neckline. January’s short blonde locks were slicked back and the stunning star flashed a bright smile to her camera, while also flipping the bird to any haters out there. “Had to do it,” January captioned the pic, adding the hashtag “desperate” in all caps.
The photo was shared just two hours after January seemingly received an email from a news outlet claiming that her “friends” shared with them that January’s social media posts appeared to make the actress look “desperate” for attention. January, naturally, handled the entire ordeal with poise and her wry wit. “Sh*t. They’ve discovered my secret. Consider this my public apology to my ‘friends,'” January captioned the screenshot of the notice. Her fans and supporters were all about the response.
“It worries me how hot you are, yes,” January’s Mad Men co-star and Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina lead Kiernan Shipka commented on the epic clap back. “Sounds like they are made you’re doing Instagram right,” Bachelor Nation alum and January’s one-time rumored flame Nick Viall wrote. “Omg. You’re amazing,” actress Willow Shields added. Clearly, January had a lot of support from her famous friends and fans.
