Mark Consuelos, 49, is showing off new ink and it’s definitely eye-catching! The hunky husband of Kelly Ripa, 50, took to his Instagram story on Dec. 1 to share a black and white photo of himself posing while showing off the tattoo, which was located on one of his bulging biceps. The snazzy art was of a skeleton wearing a sombrero and holding a gun out in one of its hands.
“Thank you,” Mark wrote over the snapshot while tagging the tattoo artist, Kaiju. Canadian-based Kaiju also took to Instagram to share the same photo and give a shout-out to the actor. “Last one of the year on @instasuelos !!! Pew pew pew,” the caption for the post read.
Mark’s new tattoo comes right before he returns home to New York to reunite with Kelly and their three kids, Michael, 23, Lola, 19, and Joaquin,17, for the holidays. The Riverdale star has been in Vancouver, Canada filming the fifth season of the popular series since Sept. and has been required to stay there until this month due to COVID-19 safety reasons. The lovebirds have given hints that his return will happen soon through recent posts on their social media accounts.
On the same day Mark posted his latest tattoo photo, Kelly shared a beautiful photo of her Christmas tree and seemingly mentioned her hubby in the caption while also tagging him. “Even though it’s 2020, she got dressed in her fancy red skirt and ready for the return of a certain someone……🎄♥️💋,” the caption read. It didn’t take long for Mark to respond with, “💋 ❤️❤️❤️can’t wait to meet her.”
Just a few weeks ago, Kelly gushed over Mark while missing him when she shared an eye-catching shirtless photo of him that got many of her followers’ attention. “Because they’re all throwbacks now, I give you my forever #mcm MC,” she wrote alongside the snapshot.
We look forward to seeing cute future posts of Kelly and Mark’s reunion as the date gets closer! They’ve always been an inspirational couple and we have a feeling they’ll continue to be that as time goes on!
