Britney Spears, 38, seems to be trying to escape all the drama surrounding her conservatorship, as she was pictured boarding a private jet and flying to Maui with longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari on Nov. 16. At first, the singer, who took a photo outside the aircraft in cute cut-off shorts, didn’t divulge where she was going, but she later posted another picture on Instagram and revealed Maui is where they’ll be for the next few days.
First, she posted a photo of herself on the plane, as well as the snacks they were eating, when she wrote, “I’m doing that whole work on yourself thing at the moment!!! PS … I wanted to get creative!!!” Then, she shared a picture of her and Sam cuddling together on the runway — just before takeoff. Britney’s legs and Sam’s bulging biceps were in full view for the sexy new photo.
Finally, upon their arrival at their mystery destination, Britney Jean revealed that she and Sam flew to Maui, as she captioned a series of goofy photos with the following message: “We be like …… in Maui!!! PS …. don’t mind my hair !!!! @samasghari”.
This pre-birthday trip (Britney turns 39 on Dec. 2) comes just a few days after Britney suffered a loss in court amid her ongoing war over her conservatorship. She recently lost her bid to oust her father, Jamie Spears, from controlling her conservatorship. According to her lawyer, she’s “afraid” of her dad and does not feel he’s made the best decisions for her financially, so hopefully this getaway will allow her to focus on something more positive.
