Bella Hadid‘s job is looking good — literally. But her bikini body is giving us some serious envy for summer. Luckily, we got a celeb trainer to spill on a move that works your entire stomach. Reggie Chambers has trained stars like Christina Ricci and tells HollywoodLife.com: “One of my favorite abs exercises is called a V-up! Start from a laying down position with hands above the head and legs straight out. Then bring both arms and legs together creating a V shape. (The torso must come off the ground while you bring the arms up). It’s one of my favorites because it hits the lower and upper abs together and if done properly it will increase the heart rate, giving it a cardio effect as well.”
I love doing multi-purpose workouts — those that target multiple muscle groups at once, like a squat into a shoulder press. So time effective! Reggie says you need to put in the work to get results! He recommends moving almost every day. “45 minutes per day is optimal, but I always tell my clients to do what they can!” Reggie also loves push-ups and jump rope for easy, on-the-go workouts that burn tons of calories!
You don’t have to be in the gym to look amazing this summer, either. Playing basketball, swimming, throwing a frisbee, or riding bikes are all amazing summer activities. You’ll get to be outside, bond with friends and family, AND burn calories! Or you could just get a dog to lose weight like I did!
