We noted the strange lyrics on Kanye West’s song “FML” when he dropped it last February, but now that he’s been hospitalized after a “psychiatric emergency,” the words have taken on a whole new meaning!

“You ain’t ever seen nothing crazier than this n***a when he off his Lexapro/Remember that last time in Mexico/Remember that last time, the episode,” he raps on The Life Of Pablo track. It’s obviously not 100% confirmed that the lyrics are actually about him, but ‘Ye usually raps from the heart, and it certainly seems like he’s referring to something personal that happened to him.

Withdrawing from Lexapro, which is used to treat anxiety and depression, can be pretty brutal, so if Kanye is on the drug and stopped taking it, it wouldn’t be surprising if there were some undesired results. The rapper was hospitalized after reportedly being placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold by his doctor on Nov. 22.

The status of Kanye’s condition at this point isn’t known, but it’s reported that he was suffering from major exhaustion and sleep deprivation amid the grueling pace of his tour recently. Before his hospitalization, the 39-year-old went on multiple onstage rants, in which he voiced his support for Donald Trump, 70, went off about racism, and even slammed his longtime friends, Beyonce, 34, and Jay Z46. We hope Kanye is okay and getting rest after all this craziness!

HollywoodLifers, do you think Kanye was hinting that something like this might happen with these song lyrics? Or was it just for the story of the track?
