“She brought something totally different from Rachel. I am so excited! I remember seeing her in Spring Awakening when she was just a Broadway actress, and I knew there was a lot deeper actor there then what we have been able to use before or what we have seen on Glee,” Sons of Anarchy executive producer, Paris Barclay told us exclusively. He also worked with Lea when he directed multiple Glee episodes!

“She has a completely different part then Rachel, everything Rachel is, this women isn’t,” Paris said. “I mean she is a down home regular woman who is kind of grumpy and she doesn’t care about her appearance. She smokes! I mean, Rachel smoking, I don’t think Rachel smoking would ever happen.”
Paris couldn’t rave enough about the actress, who has been on TV since Glee began in May 2009. He explained that she “killed” the role and it was actually one of the shortest days on set, since she was “so prepared!”
