Fabolous Disses Kendrick Lamar Over ‘Control’ Verse

It's a rap battle! When Fabolous took the stage at a concert in Brooklyn on Nov. 2, he called out Kendrick with a major slam about his music in response to Kendrick's infamous song "Control." Some of the hottest names in rap right now — including Kendrick Lamar, Fabolous, and 2 Chainz — were at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, Nov. 2 for Power 105.1's Powerhouse 2013 concert. Kendrick was the last act of the night, but that didn't stop opener Fabolous from giving him a serious diss! He was NOT afraid to throw major shade toward Kendrick shortly before the rapper was to take the stage. Find out what he said!

Fabolous Disses Kendrick Lamar’s Music

During his performance at the Barclays Center, Fabolous — who is from Brooklyn — told the crowd that Kendrick, who was performing later that night, isn’t number one because only “real rappers” are from Brooklyn!

And that’s not all: He said the diss not just once, but twice to really make his point clear.

Kendrick Lamar Calls Out Rappers In ‘Control’ Verse

Kendrick is no stranger to making serious disses. He made waves and shocked the rap industry when he called out some of the biggest names in the business in his controversial verse on Big Sean‘s “Control.”

The intense verse called out Drake, Wale, Meek Mill, and more major rappers. While most seemed cool with the slam, others responded and dissed him back!
