John Galliano (born [Juan Carlos Antonio Galliano-Guillen] in Gibraltar on November 28, 1960]) is a British fashion designer who headed labels Givenchy, (from July 1995-October 1996), Christian Dior, and his own label. When he was appointed at Givenchy he became the first British designer to head a French haute couture house. In February 2011 Galliano was suspended from Dior and removed from his own label after footage of an anti-Semitic tirade in a Paris bar surfaced. In September 2011 he was found guilty of making the remarks and entered rehab. In 2013, he started to make a comeback with a temporary residency with designer Oscar de la Renta.

Personal Life:
John Galliano lives in Paris in Le Marais, (an area known for it’s gay and Jewish communities), with his long-time boyfriend Alexis Roche, a style consultant. The designer admitted to being bullied for being different when we grew up in London. After his anti-Semitic rant he checked himself into rehab and admitted to alcohol and substance abuse.
