Why you gotta do us like that, Mulder and Scully? The season finale of The X-Files was probably the best of the revival mini-series, but it left so, so much unanswered! As the mini-season came to a close, Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) were battling the end of the world — and the Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) was to blame. Did they both make it out alive?
The original run of The X-Files gave us an insane number of spooky and creepy monsters and villains, but the Bandaid Nose Man may take the cake as the weirdest yet! The fourth episode of The X-Files mini-series introduced us to a man literally made out of garbage, who mutilates people and tosses them into the back of a trash truck. It only gets weirder from there! Read on for the rest of our recap!
This is The X-Files that we missed! Scully and Mulder (Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny) are dispatched to determine whether or not a couple huffing paint in the woods have stumbled upon a ferocious monster that kills everyone in its path, or just…a mountain lion. Obviously, this was bound to be good from the beginning!
Is there anything more comforting than hearing that theme song? The second episode of The X-Files revival brings us back to one of the most poignant parts of the original series, when Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is forced to give up her son, William, when he is just a baby. In 2016, both Scully and Mulder (David Duchovny) can’t bear to think about the son they don’t know, but they have to face a harsh reminder when children with severe genetic deformities, gone missing, are found living at a lab.
Jimmy Kimmel, 48, reunited Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny, 55, and Gillian Anderson, 47) for an incredible X-Files sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in which the host played their new partner. Agent Keith helped the pair realize it wasn’t the ’90s, and offered some advice: it’s been over 20 years; have sex already! Click through to see Mulder and Scully’s makeout session!
When X-Files returns to television in January, 2016, we can expect to see Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) back in action, of course. However, we’re also in for some newcomers, namely, Robbie Amell! The Flash star posed for some adorable pics alongside his new costar, Gillian, and they even posted them on social media for all of us to see! So thoughtful!
David Duchovny, 54, and Gillian Anderson, 46, were featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly in support of the return of their famous TV series The X-Files which premieres January, 2016. They teased the series revival and dropped a few tantalizing tidbits about what fans can expect from the upcoming series.
While we still can’t really believe that we’re actually getting an X-Files reboot, we better believe it because the six-episode miniseries is going to premiere on Fox on Jan. 24, 2016. Gillian Anderson, who of course depicted agent Scully in the hit series, will reprise her role for the remake, and she’s starting to open up about what fans can expect when new episodes debut for the first time since 2002. And yes, she’s seen the scripts!
Hello, old friends. The X-Files, which last aired on television 13 years ago, will make its triumphant return in the form of a 6-episode miniseries on Fox on Jan. 24. Better yet, original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will both reprise their iconic roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, respectively. It was almost too good to be true– but now, we can really believe it because we have a first pic of the two back in action, together on set!
