Jim Gaffigan (born James Christopher Gaffigan on July 7, 1966 in Elgin, Illinois) is an American stand-up comedian and actor. His observational stand-up routines center largely on family, laziness and food; his “Hot Pockets” bit is beloved. Jim has starred in a number of films, including Super Troopers and The Love Guru. In July 2015, his sitcom premiered on TV Land, a sitcom loosely based on his family’s life called The Jim Gaffigan Show. In February 2016, he began appearing as Colonel Sanders in KFC commercials, replacing Norm MacDonald.

Personal Life:
Jim is married to actress, and his frequent collaborator, Jeannie Gaffigan. Together, they have five children: two daughters, Marre and Katie Louise, and three sons, Jack, Michael, and Patrick.
