Dame Vivienne Westwood’s Memorial: Photos — It was a dark day for the fashion world when Dame Vivienne Westwood died on Dec. 29, 2022. Celebrities and fashion figures flocked to London’s Southwark Cathedral on Feb. 16, 2023 for the British fashion designer’s memorial.

Vivenne died late last year at her home in Clapham in southwest London, according to representatives. The punk icon passed “peacefully” and was surrounded by her family at the time.

A VIP collection of celebrities attended Vivienne’s memorial. Among the guests were Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, British Vogue editor Edward Enninful. Many paid tribute to the fashion legend wearing her own designs.

While the tartans were out in full force, Victoria Beckham opted for a sleek all-black look. She looked somber, donning dark sunglasses as she made her way into the event.
