VAX Live Concert: J.LO Sizzles In Sexy Bodysuit, Blonde Selena Gomez, & More Photos

Celebrities like Prince Harry, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck and more united to celebrate COVID-19 vaccines at a special concert on May 2.

On May 2, 2021, celebrities gathered in Inglewood, California for Global Citizen’s ‘Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite The World’ event. The special was held to honor the COVID-19 vaccine and the hope it’s given to families around the world. Frontline workers were invited to attend and were recognized for their invaluable and hard work over the past year.

The event featured performances from Jennifer Lopez, Foo Fighters, H.E.R, Eddie Vedder and J. Balvin. Meanwhile, other celebrities — including Ben Affleck, Jimmy Kimmel, Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Munn and more — were in attendance to help celebrate the cause. Selena Gomez served as host, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were campaign chairs. Harry even took the stage at the event to give a powerful speech that inspired the crowd.

“The pandemic cannot end unless we act collectively with an unprecedented commitment to our shared humanity,” Harry said. “The vaccine must be distributed to everyone everywhere. We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world. The mission in front of us is one we cannot afford to fail out and that’s what tonight is about.”

Although only a select number of people were able to attend Vax Live in person, there will be an opportunity for the entire world to join in. On May 8, the concert will be airing on YouTube and various networks at 8:00 p.m. ET.
