Tyler, the Creator is one of this generation’s most prominent rappers. He released his debut solo mixtape — “Bastard” — in 2009. He quickly rose to superstardom with hits like “Yonkers,” “911/Mr. Lonely,” “Potato Salad,” and more. The rapper released his sixth album, IGOR, on May 17, 2019. The album is already one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2019.
He’s worked with artists like Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and Lil Wayne. Tyler also released an EP titled ‘Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch’ in honor of the 2018 film. He was also previously the leader of the alternative rap group Odd Future. He was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2018. He won an MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist in 2011.
The rapper has released several albums throughout his career, including Wolf, Flower Boy, and CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale. Now, in 2025, Tyler announced that he will release a new album.
