‘Severance’ Season 2 just wrapped with multiple Emmy wins. Meet the actors behind the hit Apple TV+ series.

Severance is the workplace thriller that fans can’t get enough of! Season 2 streamed on Apple TV+ beginning January 17, 2025, and wrapped with a gripping finale on March 20. The return came on the heels of a triumphant Emmy season, where the show took home multiple awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actress for Britt Lower, Outstanding Supporting Actor for Tramell Tillman, and Outstanding Guest Actress for Merritt Wever.

Ahead of the season 2 premiere, showrunner Dan Erickson teased consequences and “pain” for the characters following their daring whistleblowing attempt at the end of season 1. “We had a victory at the end of Season 1 for the innies, but at Lumon, there is no victory without pain,” Erickson told Decider in an interview published January 2. “So get ready for some pain.”

Directed by Ben Stiller and Irish filmmaker Aoife McArdle, the series features an impressive ensemble cast, from Adam Scott to Patricia Arquette to Christopher Walken and beyond, all of whom helped shape the Emmy-winning second season of Severance.

Brunette beauty Britt Lower is Helly Riggs, a newcomer to Lumon who has been recently severed. “She’s the most defiant, brave, unapologetically honest person I’ve ever countered on a page,” Lower told Elle of her character in April 2022. Lower has appeared in ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ ‘American Horror Story,’ and ‘Show Pony,’ among others.

Tramell Tillman

Tramell Tillman character is Seth Milchick, a manager on Lumon’s severed floor. “I wanted to create Milchick as a duck on water, if you will: very calm, but there’s always something going on underneath,” he once told The Hollywood Reporter. Tillman has also appeared in Prime Video’s ‘Hunters.’
