Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to romance. She’s been in some of the most iconic romantic comedies of all time, never failing to make audiences laugh as she tries to get the guy. On-screen, she’s rocked some really great gowns, so we had to give them a shout-out.

The triple threat has also had a few walks down the aisle in her own life. She marked her fourth marriage back in Jul. 2022 when she exchanged ‘I Do’s with Ben Affleck. For their official nuptials in Georgia months later, J. Lo actually had three different custom Ralph Lauren designs.

It’s no surprise that Jennifer knows her way around a wedding dress. She’s had so many great wedding looks in movies, we couldn’t pick just one. One of our favorites is The Wedding Planner (2001.) She was truly radiant while rocking white for the Matthew McConaughey movie.

Young love! Selena Quintanilla was instantly head-over-heels for her guitarist Chris Perez. Though their wedding isn’t a part of the 1997 biopic, Selena, Jennifer Lopez still got to rock a stylish white minidress for a special engagement scene. She also dons a beautiful white dress in the opening and closing scenes of the film.

Funny enough, things don’t go to perfect plan in Jennifer Lopez’s 2002 movie, The Wedding Planner. When J. Lo’s family tries to set up her character Mary, she gets cold feet at their courthouse wedding.

Still, the star was dressed to impress for the scene. She donned a boatneck gown with a pillbox hat and veil, which many compared to Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding gown.

Though Enough ends up following a much grittier story, the 2002 action thriller starts with a sweet wedding scene between Jennifer Lopez and Billy Campbell. She wowed in a tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded straps, which was dressed up with a veil and dangly earrings.

Jennifer comes to discover her husband is not who he seemed as the movie goes on. While not a fairytale, the film still packs quite the punch.

People were seeing double when Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez battled for the heart of Michael Vartan in 2005’s Monster-In-Law. Though J.Lo was so stunning in a sweeping cream SaeYoung Vu Couture ballgown, her future mother-in-law still tried to show her up in her own white look. The bride’s satin opera gloves and long cathedral veil looked perfect for a walk down the aisle… if her character ever makes it.

Art mirrored real life when Jennifer Lopez and then-husband Marc Anthony tied the knot in the 2006 movie El Cantante. In the movie about singer Héctor Lavoe, Jennifer was his wife, Nilda “Puchi” Lavoe.

Their wedding scene shows the starlet in a retro 60s-style dress. She looked era-perfect with a full veil, big blown out hair, and pearly eyemakeup.

Jennifer Lopez’s 2022 movie Marry Me starts with the star in a stunning gown. While she initially planned to marry her fiance in an on-stage extravaganza, she pulls the plug after discovering he was unfaithful.

She wasn’t shedding the stunning silver Zuhair Murad look though. The dress, which featured taffeta, crystal, and lace details, reportedly weighed nearly a hundred pounds, per Variety.

Instead of canceling the wedding, J. Lo’s character decided to get hitched to a stranger in the crowd, played by Owen Wilson. She got another chance to wear white at the end of the film.

Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel’s destination wedding takes a wrong turn in 2023’s Shotgun Wedding. After pirates take their wedding party hostage, the bride and groom go on a wild adventure to save their special day.

As the movie goes on, Jennifer’s dress definitely takes a beating. This meant costume designers had to craft 28 slightly different versions of the stunning Galia Lahav gown, each one more weathered than the one before. They didn’t go to waste though! J. Lo even rocked one design for her Las Vegas wedding to Ben Affleck.
