Laverne Cox & More Celebs At The GLAAD Media Awards 2022: Photos

The 33rd annual GLAAD awards celebrating  LGBTQ excellence in the media gave us appearances from some of the community’s post prominent voices. At the event were Laverne Cox, Cynthia Nixon, Dove Cameron, and more.

The 33rd Annual GLAAD Awards, an event dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ accomplishments in the media, took place in New York City on May 6, 2022. The night was filled with studded A-Listers who are dedicated to the LGBTQ community, such as Laverne Cox, Cynthia Nixon, Dove Cameron, and more. 

The awards, such as Outstanding Drama Series given to FX series ‘Pose’, were designed to honor the stories of LGBTQ voices. “At a time when we need it most, these stories rise against hate, enlighten, entertain, and send an undeniable message: we are not going anywhere.” GLAAD President and CEO Kate Ellis proudly declared. Other notable winners include ‘Sesame Street’ for Outstanding Children’s Programming, and Lil Nas X for Outstanding Music Artist.
