The alcohol industry is basically never not booming, so stars have always loved investing in wine, beer, or spirits brands. Whether it’s a smooth whiskey, or a glass of rosè, A-listers have really cornered the beverage marker.

One Hollywood drink mogul is Kendall Jenner, here with her 818 Tequila. She launched the brand in May 2021 with three expressions: a blanco, an añejo, and a reposado. Here, she shows off a glass of her agave spirit in the distillery on Nov. 30, 2021.

Post Malone & Maison No. 9 Rosé — In 2019, Post Malone helped launch Maison No. 9 with friend and entrepreneur James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities, and Dre London, long-time music manager and Co-Founder of London Entertainment. Working closely with winemaker Alexis Cornu, winner of fifteen gold medals and seven 90+ point rosé wines, the founders spent much of 2019 – in-between Post’s sold-out tour dates – traveling frequently to the winery. They tried many grape varietals and sampled over fifty blends until they developed a new blend of premium rosé that they were happy with.

Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston’s Dos Hombres Tequila — Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston aren’t just Breaking Bad buddies. They’re also the co-founders of Dos Hombres Tequila, which they started in 2019. They certainly seem like they’re having fun with the brand, which they’ve promoted with tons of fun pop-up events.

The Rock’s Teremana Añejo Tequila

The Rock’s Teremana Añejo Tequila — Who doesn’t want to share a drink with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson? He launched Teremana Tequila in 2019. At the time he proudly declared it “the new gold standard of ultra-premium tequila.”

Talking about his passion for tequila with Us Weekly in Aug. 2022, he said, “I’ve always loved tequila and wanted to create a brand that is rooted in responsible sourcing. I love that the tequila brings people together. It’s brought me close to everyone I work with and drinking tequila is such a social activity, so it’s a product I’m happy to put out into the world.”

Diddy & Ciroc

Diddy & Ciroc — Diddy was one of the earliest celebs to get into the drink business with the vodka brand Cirôc. Though it was founded in 2003, the spirit brought Diddy on to market and promote Cirôc in 2007. It was an “equal-share venture,” leaving the brand’s profits to be split between Combs and owner Diageo.

Nick Jonas & Villa One Tequila

Nick Jonas & Villa One Tequila — Nick Jonas collaborated with designer John Varvatos on Villa One Tequila, which they launched in 2019. They worked in partnership with alcohol bigwigs Stoli, known for their vodka. The project branched out to the bar business when it announced the impending opening of the Villa One Tequila Garden in San Diego. The project is slated for Fall 2022.

Jay-Z & D’usse — Jay-Z is the co-owner of the D’usse VSOP cognac, along with Bacardi. The brand is beloved by rappers and some special bottles have fetched high prices on the auction block. A one-of-a-kind crystal bottle crafted in honor of Jay-Z’s 50th birthday was auctioned by Sotheby’s in New York for over $50,000, according to the auction house.

David Beckham & Haig Club Whisky — David Beckham collaborated with heritage whisky house Haig on their Haig Club variety, which first released its square blue bottle in 2014. In Aug. 2022, they jumped into the canned cocktail business with two spritzy flavors.

Bethenny Frankel & Skinnygirl — Bethenny Frankel’s food empire started with just ready-to-go margarita mix! She first released Skinnygirl Margarita in 2009, leading to a range of Skinnygirl cocktails. The success of the drinks lead to low-cal candy, deli meat, sweeteners, popcorn, and salad dressings. She sold the cocktail line to Beam Global for $120 million in 2011.

Robert De Niro & VDKA 6100

Robert De Niro & VDKA 6100 — Robert De Niro founded VDKA 6100 back in 2014. He collaborated with with Australian spirits company the Artisan Spirits Merchants. Talking to the Wall Street Journal about the business, Robert said, “I was approached by some people who wanted to do a whole product campaign, which was a very tasteful, terrific idea. I said that I would be part of the whole thing but I just don’t want to say, ‘pay me, thank you, and goodbye.'”

Jamie Foxx & Brown Sugar Bourbon — Jamie Foxx bought Brown Sugar Bourbon in 2021. He was a big fan of the Washington-produced brand even before the partnership, telling Eater, “Before the quarantine I watched bottles of BSB disappear at all my celebrations and knew this was a brand I wanted to bring into the spotlight. Anyone who tries BSB is going to love it just like I do.”

Rita Ora & Prospero Tequila — Rita Ora’s Prospero Tequila is made in partnership with Stella Anguiano, one of the first female Tequila distillers in Mexico. Talking about their partnership in Apr. 2022 with VinePair, the pop star said, “The spirit industry has been male-dominated for some time, so I’m passionate about changing that and I’d like to think we’ve helped make progress by having female leadership and setting a new example for how the industry can move forward.”
