Things didn’t work out between Jill Chin and Clayton Echard on The Bachelor, but Jill isn’t giving up on love! Jill is one of the contestants on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise, which premieres on Sept. 27. Jill is one of 19 former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants that will start out on the beach during day one of filming. Ahead of the premiere, learn more about Jill with five facts below:

1. What Happened To Jill On ‘The Bachelor’?

Jill was a contestant on season 26 of The Bachelor, which filmed at the end of 2021 and aired at the beginning of 2022. Jill made it to week four with Clayton before she was eliminated at the week 4 rose ceremony. Jill was one of the women to openly call out Shanae Ankney on the show, which overshadowed her connection to Clayton.

2. What Does Jill Chin Do?

Jill works as an Architectural Historian and Social Media Coordinator at a Public Archaeology Lab in Rhode Island. She’s held the position since Nov. 2019. Before that, she was a Business Development Representative at Nordson FFD for nearly two years. She also helped out as a Guide and Intern at the Preservation Society of Newport County in Rhode Island between June 2016 and Jan. 2018.

3. Where Did Jill Go To School?

Jill attended Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural and Historical Preservation in 2017.

4. Jill Is A Proud Asian American

Jill is part of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Community. Her grandfather immigrated to the United States and served in World War II. “It is such an honor to be able to represent the Asian community and show young women and girls that they are beautiful, strong and worthy of love and respect,” Jill said in May.
