Stephen Colletti is getting married! The Laguna Beach alum, 37, revealed that he’d proposed to his girlfriend Alex Weaver, 27, on social media! Alex had posted a photo showing off her new engagement ring, and she captioned it, “Yes! Forever.” Besides the photo of the diamond ring, the pair also included a photo of them kissing in front of a scenic view.

Alex Is a Reporter for NASCAR
While Alex has had a few different jobs over the course of her career, she currently works for the professional racecar driving league NASCAR, where she’s a host and reporter. She has hosted many events for the sport, and she’s interviewed many of the best drivers racing today. On her Instagram, she regularly shares photos and clips taken either by the racetrack or at events for NASCAR.
She Used to Work for ESPN and Raycom
While she now specializes in NASCAR, Alex has been a journalist in other capacities. She was a student reporter and multimedia journalist for Raycom, according to her LinkedIn. With Raycom she covered a wide variety of college sports, including football. With ESPN, Alex was a student reporter for ESPNU and an on-air talent/contributor. She covered many different sporting events, including football, volleyball, and soccer.
She Studied at Clemson University
Much of her coverage for college sports did focus on Alex’s alma mater Clemson University, where she studied from 2012 to 2016. At the college, she got a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Pi and worked as a student administrative recruiting assistant, in addition to her work with ESPN.
She Likes an Adventure
Outside of her clear love of sports, Alex regularly shares photos from her travels and hikes. She’s shared photos of beach days, boating outings, and international getaways. In fact, when she posted a tribute for Stephen’s birthday in February, she called him her “adventure partner.”

Alex goes by quite a few nicknames. Her full name is actually “Jordan Alexis Weaver,” but she has shortened it. She’s often called just “Weaver” or even simply “Weave,” according to MN2S. Her Instagram handle even abbreviates her name to “al_weave.”
