Broadway’s biggest night has arrived. The 79th Annual Tony Awards will celebrate the best plays, musicals, and performances of the 2025–2026 Broadway season from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. This year’s ceremony is hosted by Grammy-winning singer P!nk, who is making her Tony Awards hosting debut. While she’s best known for hit songs such as “Just Give Me a Reason,” “Raise Your Glass,” and “So What,” P!nk is also a lifelong theater fan whose music has been featured in Broadway productions including Moulin Rouge! The Musical and & Juliet.
According to executive producers Jack Sussman, Sarah Levine Hall, and Raj Kapoor, P!nk’s passion for Broadway made her the ideal choice to lead the ceremony. “She’s doing it because she’s a superfan and wants to be in the room,” Sussman told People. “She’s not doing it because she has a movie coming out or an album coming out.” The producers have also teased an ambitious show packed with performances and surprises, with Hall adding, “We’re excited for people to see what’s in store on Sunday. I think fans will be really happy with what we’ve come up with.”
