Jacklyn died at 70 following a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 10, per ABC News. After her passing, the show tweeted a moving tribute to her. “Jacklyn Zeman has been a beloved member of the ‘General Hospital’ and ABC family since she originated the iconic role of Bobbie Spencer over 45 years ago. She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl turned heroine and will always be remembered for her kind heart and radiant spirit,” they wrote. “We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones.”
Jacklyn was married three times through her life. She wed her first husband Murray Kaufman (better known by his pseudonym Murray The K) in 1979 and split up in 1981. She was married to her second husband Steve Gribbin from 1985 to 1986. She tied the knot with her third and final husband Glenn Gorden in 1988, and they had two daughters.
