Vili Fualaau (born Vili I. Fualaau on June 26, 1983) is a Samoan-American DJ who first became known for having sexual relations with his 34-year-old, married sixth grade teacher, Mary Kay Letourneau. Mary Kay served three months in jail after being convicted on two counts of second-degree rape, but when she and Vili were caught together just two weeks after she was released, she was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in state prison. She gave birth to his two children in May 1997 and October 1998, when he was just 13 and 15, respectively. Upon Mary Kay’s release from prison in 2004, when Vili was 21, he asked for their no contact order to be revoked and they got married in May 2005.
