Troy Austin

Bio:
Troy Austin (reportedly born in 1969 from Doncaster, United Kingdom) is a British man who happens to be the biological father of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson. Troy split from Louis’s mother, Johannah Poulston, in 1997, when Louis was only five years old. Troy and Louis grew apart and became estranged from one another. As of 2015, they hadn’t spoken for three years. Troy reportedly reached out to Louis upon the news that the One Direction star was going to have a child with Briana Jungwirth. Louis refused. On Aug. 19, 2015, Troy reportedly attempted suicide. After reportedly getting into a spat with his brother, Dene Flanagan, over a hotel they own, Troy allegedly vanished in a friend’s car. Relatives reported Troy missing and he was discovered in Cantley Park, attempting to gas himself in a suicide attempt. Police found multiple empty beer cans in the car and attempted to administer a Breathalyzer test. Troy refused, causing the police to arrest him under the suspicion of drunk driving.

Personal Life:
At the time of his suicide attempt, Louis was homeless. He was kicked out of a friend’s house due to his reportedly heavily drinking and copious amount of dope smoking. Troy’s drug and alcohol abuse reportedly caused all his friends to disown him, spurring on his depression. Louis has taken his last name from his stepfather, Mark Tomlinson.
