Chris Correa is a former Major League Baseball scouting director. Chris spent his entire MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals starting in 2009, but lost his job in July 2015 for reasons the team’s general manager John Mozeliak announced was still be investigated at the time. Six months later, Chris appeared in court and pleaded guilty to five counts of unauthorized access of a protected computer from at least 2013 to 2014, if not longer, hacking the Houston Astros‘ player personnel database. A judge ruled on July 18, 2016, that Chris would spend 46 months in jail and face $279,038 in restitution charges.

Chris is best known for hacking the Houston Astros’ computer database while working for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2013, which resulted in some high-tech cheating.
