Bryce Dejean-Jones (born Bryce Alexander Dejean-Jones on August 21, 1992 in Los Angeles, CA) was an American NBA player, who played guard for the New Orleans Pelicans. Bryce was a talented college basketball player, who played for Iowa State University after playing for USC and UNLV. Bryce went undrafted by the NBA in 2015, but played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2015 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Pelicans wound up signing him in August 2015, only to let him go. He played for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League, and the Pelicans took a second look at him, signing him to a three year contract in February 2016. Bryce died at the age of 23 in Dallas, TX, from a gunshot to the abdomen on May 28, 2016.
